    • - Please include quick Installation instructions. Thanx. Glenn T. Kitchen : piboss@live.com
    • The template uses the same installation procedures as all extensions for Visual Studio 2010. All you have to do is run the vsix file you download and follow the prompts. The gadget's help page (and links on that page) should cover creating new projects using the template.
    • Hello Ioan, The VB Silverlight Sidebar Gadget is an awesome and attractive template but it shows errors when i debug it(when i open it from the online templates), it shows the following errors:
       - (The 32 bit sidebar.exe file was not found in it's expected location.),
       - (Starting the 32 bit sidebar produced the following error: The system cannot find the path specified),
       - (The following error occured while attaching the visual studio debugger:object reference not set to an instance of an object)
Moreover, it isn't appear in the installed templates for allowing me to add it to my existed project. Therefore, could you please instruct me on how to use this template and how we could modify it please? where i can get a step by step tutorial video on how to create the Silverlight Sidebar Gadget using VB 2010?

      I appreciate your efforts. Thanks

    • What OS do you have installed? Does the following path exist on your machine? (paste it in explorer) "%ProgramFiles(X86)%\Windows Sidebar"
The template appears in the new project dialog under Visual Basic (not under Visual Basic->Silverlight)
