The instant visual feedback, with the "hand-drawn red marker pen" is really astonishing and it really makes you want to correct the error directly making you feel kind of good when the red marked disappears.

We use it in our team all the time and now everyone seems to know the code standard in and out, and the once that don’t won’t check in any code with violations since they know the code will get marked instantly when someone else checks out and looks at their code.

Our team will now be extended with new developers from the C/C++ world and once again this tool will prove its usefulness.

  • Mismatch between the current version and the new version

    • It seems there is a mismatch between the current version (3.5) and the new version (3.5.17). It leads to the constant pop-up of an updated version each time visual studio is opened.
  • Changes from 2008?

    • I'm not getting the broad stroke underline on violations in VS 2010, only the ToolTip statement. Is that a change from 2008? Or a setting? Or a failed install?
