    How can I profile a Windows Phone application?

      When I try to profile a WP7 application, it says that application type cannot be automatically selected (don't remember the exact words), and then it offers me to choose which app type to profile, but cannot see Windows Phone app. Is it Silverlight app? I'm almost sure it isn't Smart device app.

I have Windows 8 and Visual Studio 2012 Pro with WP8 SDK

      dotTrace 5.x Performance doesn't actually support profiling Windows Phone applications (neither version 7 nor 8)

There was a mention of Windows Phone support on the product's Visual Studio Gallery description which was clearly made by mistake and is now removed.
