Excellent tool.

Previously reported issues seem to have been fixed.

Does not work. Always experiences an error. "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation."

Agree with prior reviews. Very much like the idea of the tool, but it doesn't work for me. I use a number of extensions, some of which I suspect of slowing vs2010 down. I would have liked a tool like this to examine the issue further.

The vsix setup encountered no issues. Attempt to use the tool's browser causes Strive's error. Can get into the log viewer, but if I click on anything, vs2010 crashes every time. Restarted machine, and encountered same issues.

Sample log entry:
Listener: MEF Queries
Type Info: Microsoft.VisualBasic.Adornments.HighlightReferences.FindAll
Message: Query for MEF component of type: <same as above>

Other log entry Messages are for different types, but the listener is always MEF Queries.

Runnning Win7 with all updates, vs2010 premium. Also have Resharper and the dev suite of JetBrain tools like Reflector and ANTS profilers, none of which have any other problems.

Browser is broken. Always presents "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation." error.

Log Viewer is useful.

Very useful when it worked (tried it pre-RTM).

It now consistently hangs VS2010 RTM Ultimate for me.

    • When trying to use the browser with the 3.0 release. I get "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation." Was working fine prior to installing this release.

    • I have the same issue as Rich has. What to do to solve it?
    • Thanks for bringing this to our notice, fix is in progress, expect to see an update soon.
    • A new version has been published (3.1) which should address the unhandled exception issues.
    • Can you please help us know if it's ok to publish this to our users to use this extension in our isolated shell based application ?
