Dialog which comes up at beginning of project creation needs to be better.

If you are trying to create and have a blank solution, it fails with no explanation.

If you try to create and have the service set to a project which is not a service, it throws and exception.

    • Hi, do you think about a new release for VS2013 ? It couldn't be installed to new version of VS.
  • nice template, but too small drop down

    • my project names do not fit in your drop down, make it bigger:)
  • Please do *not* use WiX toolset icons.

    • This project is not officially part of the WiX toolset, please use a different icon to represent the project so there is less confusion.
    • Sure I can to this too, but just one quick question before I start spending time on drawing icons (probably going to look terrible :) ).
Is there now a Service Template included in the official WiX toolset or do you have plans to include it?
I am asking because then I could simply delete my project, this option would be quicker for me, and I don't see any reason to have duplicate functionality.
  • Not from SourceForge

    • It should be noted that this Setup Project was not created by the WiX team.
    • I have updated the description to avoid any confusion about that
