  • Need to uninstall but it won't let me
    1 Posts | Last post January 16, 2013
    • I had installed VS Ultimate 11 Beta along with TestScribe and then I tried to install VS Test Pro 2012 and I think its crashing because its trying to load the wrong version of Test Scribe. I tried to install the 2012 version of TestScribe and it won't let me because of preexisting version. I tried to uninstall TestScribe and it says I have a newer version of MTM installed so it can't install (even though I am uninstalling). I uninstalled VSTP 2012 and then tried uninstalling TestScribe and it refuses because MTM is not installed on the machine. How can I get that off my machine. Searches for TestScribe are returning 0 hits in windows so I don't know where to look.
  • Version from 8/21/2012 still causing mtm to abort.

    • TestScribe still is not working for me, as of the 8/21/2012 version.

Maybe I have to have a specific version of the .net Framework installed???

    • uninstall test scribe and install this version

hopefully this should fix the issue
    • Just installed Office 2013 Preview and that causes test manager to crash on startup. Removing Test Scribe re-enables/fixes test scribe.
