Hello,
We have an old project maintained in VC 6. We use MSSCCI and TFS 2010. Lastly we had to remove a bunch of files from the solution. The developer used the IDE to remove the files from the project, but unfortunately, looking in Team Explorer 2010, there is no sign that files have been deleted.
Thanks in advance!
The client has millions of code in Interdev (ASP projects) and we are trying to integrate without success.
We have integrated succesfully through TFS MSSCCI Provider extension, VB6, VS2003 (projects and web projects) but we are not able with Interdev.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
I have Qlikview 11, and is configured with the Team Foundation Server provided by tfs.visualstudio.com but does not work in the login, create alternate credentials in the page but still fails.
Any idea?
Hello,
We have our own IDE and want to integrate TFS with it.
I am using TFSMSSCCI provider and have also installed Visual Studio 2012 Team Foundation Explorer as TFS client
I am able to connect, add files, check in, check out, to/from TFS. When I disconnect from TFS using our IDE, TfsMsscciSvr.exe does not stop. Thus, causing the IDE process to run in background.
Is there any way by which I can stop the TfsMsscciSvr.exe process and shutdown my IDE gracefully.
Regards
Manoj
We are doing an assessment to see if the mainframe components hosted in workbench and tracked through version, can be integrated into TFS 2010. I have been trying to get to discussions, which did not provide information on this item. If anyone can provide some direction around this it would be very helpful.
Thanks
We are using TFS 2010 for our source control and have some older projects that still use VS 2003. We can connect to source control and check in and check out but we cannot see when another user has a file checked out in the Solution Explorer in 2003. We can open VS 2010 and go to source control explorer to see this but some users are not using VS 2010. Is there a setting we can change or is this feature not supported? The icon does change if a user has a file checked out on their current workspace so some statuses do come through fine.
hi
just got the MSSCCI Provider for plsql developer (vcs). Oracle 11g.
i have setup the folder structure in TFS like the below
>SigmaProduct
>>Parts
>>Customer
>>Review
Basically the TFS project folder location is set to $SigmaProject/SigmaProduct in plsql developer VCS. The problem is if i check in a package that belongs to "Parts" its directly mapping to root folder SigmaProduct in TFS.
Any file that i check-in goes to root folder. it doesn't work like asp.net folder way..
what is the problem here? am i doing something wrong? is it something problem with TFS 2012 msscci provider compatibility with plsql developer
any help is really appreciated... it is important that we need to keep the packages checked-in with respect to folder structure in TFS rather than everything at root level. any workaround?
