We've assessed a few other SL Gantt Chart components and the DlhSoft, although a bit too similar to MS Project, is by far and without a shadow of a doubt several classes above the competition.
1/ It is easy and intuitive to use. Properties that you expect to be exposed are just there. 2/ The samples although currently limited are a very good starting point. 3/ If the samples don't quite provide enough detail or information, then fire off an email and you'll get an answer within one day if not sooner. I think the "record" was within the hour and we have not even purchased the product yet, although we will definitely do so!! 4/ Any bugs found have a crazy turn around time irrespective of whether you're a multinational, or a small company. 5/ They also listen to suggestions and implement them amazingly quickly if they are simple enough changes.
DlhSoft seem to espouse the same philosophy that I try to use: - Simplicity - Ease of use - Great customer service - Listen to the needs of the customer
All in all, do yourself a favour, save yourself the time and head ache, get the trial version and try it out for yourself. You won't regret it!
