does not backup .cpp or .h files. Only grabbed vcproj files and .cs files. Wished it had option to only backup current project as well.

Hi Guillermo,

First, I'm sorry about this. Because I'm joining in a contest at CodeProject and they required using Visual Studio 2010 Beta2. You can see my article at CodeProject here : http://www.codeproject.com/KB/macros/gbackup.aspx

You can use the source code I posted there to compile on your VS 2010 RC ( need VS SDK ).

In the mean time, I will rebuild the installer on VS 2010 RC and update soon.

Thanks for your comment anyway :)

the first time I start vs 2010 rc after installing GBackup I get the error:

The Add-in 'GBackupSolution' failed to load or caused an exception.
Would you like to remove this Add-in?
If you choose yes, the file it was loaded from,
'C:\Users\Gab\Documents\Visual Studio
2010\Addins\GBackupSolution.AddIn', will be renamed.
Error Message: <Unknown Error>
Error number: 80131513

    • A file without an extension gets downloaded. How to install this ?
    • Hi Console.WriteLi

You can change its extension to .msi and then double-click to install. I don't know why you got it without extension, I've just tried to download and it works fine!

      Thanks.
