I have been using TCO for a few months now and find it to be an invaluable tool. My productivity has been greatly improved since I have started using the product. It works faster than Visual Studio or the web client. Some of my favorite features include scheduled queries, email work items (one or multiple), ability to open work items directly from emails, the work item search, and report interface that saves report parameters. The support team has been friendly and responsive. I have purchased licenses for my entire team and have been recommending TCO to my colleagues on other teams.

Collaboration is the heart of a Team's success. TeamCompanion has done a brilliant job at bringing together the power of Team System and Outlook... TeamCompanion is a MUST HAVE for every Team Foundation user - its just that simple!

A must-have tool for everyone who works heavily with Work Items in TFS. Finally you have e-mail and work item communication in one tool and you can use Outlooks rich grouping and searching capabilities to organize your work items as well.

I've been using Team Companion since version 1 and is a great enhancer to both outlook and Visual Studio Team System. It allows you to perform all your work item management functions in a simple and easy way. In fact sometimes when i'm inside Visual Studio i switch to Outlook just to do something on a work item which is faster to do in Team Companion than in Team Explorer. The work item management together with outlook is a great fit. It is very easy to send work items by email (which is great for status reporting) but it is also very easy to generate work items from emails (which is great for bug reports arriving by email or adding a client feature request). These feature (among many others) along with the fact that allows you to see a list for work items offline makes team companion an invaluable tool for project manager but it's easy interface also makes it easy for people who also spend a great deal of time in outlook
