  • ''Unpublished by an administrator"

    • Today our tool simply disappeared from the gallery. To put it politely, we would appreciate being notified with a reason the next time the tool is "unpublished by an administrator". Thank you.
    • Hi,

I'm not sure why your extension was unpublished but I think it was human error.

  • Misleading "Clicks: 0" status...

    • Okay, we are the developers of this extension. After 24h we are still looking at a "Clicks: 0" status, albeit we have registered downloads coming from visualstudiogallery (the download is executed from our web server). Pretty odd at least, if not a faulty and misleading stats implementation (since "success" is generally equal to popularity)...
    • I am not getting how to install this addin. Plz guide me
    • Snehil-
This is not an addin, but an extension, so it only works with VS10 (Visual Studio 2010). If you have that on your machine, then installing this extension is as simply as double-clicking the VSIX file including in the archive you have probably downloaded. And once installed, you can check that it works by simply opening a solution, opening a code window and selecting some text - a transparent popup should appear near the selection.
    • The click count is generated once/day. Let me know if it happens again if this happens again after 24 hours.

Also, why not host the vsix file on visual studio gallery, so you can benefit from the product integration and direct installation from inside visual studio?
    • Steven-
Thanks for the clarification - it makes sense.
As for directly hosting the file on the VS Gallery, we will seriously consider it, given your explanation.
