Great product, especially if you also use TortoiseSVN outside Visual Studio, since you will get the same familiar UI (dialogs, icons, command texts, etc). Works on every version of Windows and Visual Studio I have tried it on.

We once tested it, but it was not as good as AnkhSVN for our requirements. In comparison to Ankh, VisualSVN also needs TortoiseSVN and costs 49$ per developer.

Visual SVN works best with tortoise SVN but i want to mention that i faced problems when i installed Visual SVN server and uninstalled Tortoise SVN... it raises error on some actions in Visual studio ... yet am trying to figure it out ... (i am trying to use Visual SVN Server only bcoz it offers Virtual Directory Integration)

I use VisualSVN on XP, Vista, and Vista64 and haven't had any problems at all. Great product.

The coolest thing about VisualSVN is that it uses TortoiseSVN. Since it is very likely that you will use TortoiseSVN today this means getting a familiar UI with zero-friction config. It just works.

Stable, fast and easy to use. Better than AnkhSVN which often is very slow when it comes to committing and updating folders.

I use VisualSVN both at home and at work and love it. Have never had a single issue with it in the year I have been using it.
