Works great! When there's a code change that I don't want to do right now, I much prefer adding this type of reference rather than litter the code with "// TODO" comments, as it leads to much better traceability.
This extension makes this workflow that much nicer!
Nice. You can also link to FogBugz wiki pages using the wiki:w?? syntax (mave sure you set the "value" as a string & set it to use the FogBugz plugin). To get the suffix, just have a look at the end of the link on the wiki page - it will be a "w" with a number. You don't get anything on hover but you can click through to the Wiki page.
The ability to insert the "marked text" into the URL or command line using the %s is great, but I need the ability to insert the matched keyword as well (perhaps using %k). We use Jira as our bug tracking system, and the issue id is formatted as [project code]-[issue number]. For exmaple, if the project code is COLUMBUS, I configure a new profile with a keyword of "COLUMBUS-". For issue 1492 in this project, the URL necessary is http://jira/browse/COLUMBUS-1492 however I only have the ability to create a URL as http://jira/browse/1492.
This isn't a problem if I only deal with a single project in Jira, but that isn't the case and I don't want to have to create multiple profiles with the project code hard-coded, one for each project, since everything about them is the same except for the project code.
