I just installed the AWS Toolkit on a Visual Studio 2013 (Update 4) and I have no prior editions of VS on my machine. After installing, my Visual Studio crashes immediately upon starting up and will not let me continue on at all. Tried repair and ran again, with no luck.

At the present moment, this is completely unusable.

Could anyone please provide us with an update on how to proceed?

  • Getting error while creating AWS Web App
    2 Posts | Last post February 15, 2016
    • Hi,
I am trying to create a web application using AWS SDK for .Net to get the list of EC2 instances. It works fine when I create a Console application but with Web application it gives "Unable to connect to server".
    • I see that Amazon isn't really into supporting its products. Too bad.

    • i've installed the latest version of the toolkit on vs express edition 2013, and in every pre-installed templates for various aws services including console programs the contained references to libraries are not working and showing error like " the library is yet not build". every time when i start a new program have to reference manually to corresponding libraries. And the main feature aws explorer option in my ide is not visible. tried to configure my ide, but believe me there is no such options regarding to the explorer window to trigger for visibility and use.
