Has anybody gotten release 2.8.6 to work with Visual Studio 2012? Installed this and visual studio ignores any and all requests to invoke Nuget as an extension.

Unable to install the package manager. Getting the error - "Value does not fall within the expected range' See the link for more error details" - https://nuget.codeplex.com/workitem/4425

Hello! I want to request some features:
1. Recent packages. Every time I want to use some package, I need to search it.
2. Favorite packages.
3. Cache packages for pc. It will encrese the download speed. Why I should download it every time for different solutions?

Still not perfect, but I don't know how I developed before I had NuGet. I never want to go back to a system where I need to manage packages and dependencies myself...

Piece of crap..

When a app tosses errors on missing files, (which the app should never allow users to remove and in this case the moron developer lets you do so within the app...), rather than fix or replace them.

This behavior clearly shows signs of a developer/team who should be working at McDonald's and not writing software.

What exactly are you dip shits thinking? This is Development 101 stuff that is breaking.

I wish I could give it less than 1 star

Hey Microsoft, ever heard the phrase 'Too many cooks in the kitchen'?

Probably not, let me translate that for you : 'Too many morons working in your development departments'?

Once again Microsoft shows us that it hires complete fuck-ups...

Sorting the packages by name is a completely useless feature without the ability to also select a beginning letter. That's the definition of lack of attention to detail. If I wanted to look for something that starts with the letter P, I could easily have to page 1,000 times before I get to the letter P (regardless of the order).

I've been using this since its inception and honestly don't know how I managed to develop without it. This provides a clean and simple way to add libraries to a project/solution, as well as allowing a developer or team of developers to pull from a common, internal repo for proprietary libraries.

Every time I try to install the new update (2.8.50313.31), VSIX installer crashes 2 seconds in.

It don't understand why this extension is updated so much.

The GUI is confusing to work with, and the restore is not always working smoothly.

But I'm exited with the asp.net vNext improvements!

I really dislike it. The UI is missing basic features, and the overall experience of using NuGet is awkward, slow, and disjointed.
