Lacking some important functionality like paging through queue messages/queues/SimpleDb domains if you have ridiculous amounts of them like I do. For me it's almost unusable because of this (unless i'm lucky and i can find what I'm looking for within a certain number of messages/queues/whatever). For most people though this wont be an issue.
It's also kinda slow, but that's not the end of the world.
I just installed the AWS Toolkit on a Visual Studio 2013 (Update 4) and I have no prior editions of VS on my machine. After installing, my Visual Studio crashes immediately upon starting up and will not let me continue on at all. Tried repair and ran again, with no luck.
At the present moment, this is completely unusable.
Could anyone please provide us with an update on how to proceed?
Hey CG Lim, developer for the toolkit here and I saw your review of the toolkit not working properly in VS 2015. I'd like to hear more about what is not working for you in Visual Studio 2015 so I can help get it resolved.
I am trying to create a web application using AWS SDK for .Net to get the list of EC2 instances. It works fine when I create a Console application but with Web application it gives "Unable to connect to server".
i've installed the latest version of the toolkit on vs express edition 2013, and in every pre-installed templates for various aws services including console programs the contained references to libraries are not working and showing error like " the library is yet not build". every time when i start a new program have to reference manually to corresponding libraries. And the main feature aws explorer option in my ide is not visible. tried to configure my ide, but believe me there is no such options regarding to the explorer window to trigger for visibility and use.
