Nice Programming Language, just wish I could save my project.

Version 1.1.746.0
OS Windows 7 Professional N SP1 64 bit.

I suspect it'll be the same on Vista.

Vladimir, thank you very much for this perfect add-in! It's much easier to start using Nemerle with VS2010 than to do the same with VS2008.

Well it`s hard to tell how awesome Nemerle is.
I was using C# for 7 years and now I met Nemerle.
Looks like I will never switch back to C# ;-)

  • Why Nemerle cannot self compile on Mono
    3 Posts | Last post November 13, 2012
    • The main reason is that Nemerle back-end is System.Reflection.Emit (SRE) which is not implemented in Mono as well as in .Net.
Mono runtime has specific bug which has not been fixed yet:
There is currently development to make replaceable back-ends.
When the work is finished, new back-end based on Common Compiler Infrastructure (CCI) will solve the problem.
    • We work on IKVM backand.
    • Nemerle can compile itself in Mono 3.0 and latest revision of 2.8.10 from source control.
